Ultra-Light Plane Crashed Into Ferris Wheel In Australia

An ultra-light plane Cheetah S200 crashed into a Ferris wheel at the Old Bar Festival in Australia on Saturday. The town of Old Bar is located about 220 miles north of Sydney.

Two men in the plane were trapped about 30 feet off the ground for nearly three hours when it became lodged inside the Ferris wheel. Two children were stuck at the top of the ride for more than an hour, according to Sydneymorningherald.com. The plane had to be sprayed with foam to reduce the risk of an explosion from leaking fuel. There were no injuries or fatalities as a result of the crash.
